We aim to process and dispatch all orders (including complete bicycles) within 1-2 working days subject to availability. Not applicable to bespoke bicycle orders.
For custom bespoke bicycle orders, our trained mechanics will build your Aphelion to your requirements from our London based warehouse. Before dispatching your new bicycle, our mechanics will make final checks ensuring that all parts on your Aphelion are fully functioning which would involve checking the tyre pressure, alignment of brakes, chain tension, stem position and so on.
Depending on the size of the item(s), all orders will be dispatched using Royal Mail or UPS. Dispatch confirmation will be sent to your email along with any tracking numbers if applicable.
Free shipping on bicycles is only available for UK customers.
VAT, IMPORT DUTIES AND TAXES
For customers who live in the EU (Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Estonia, Greece, Spain, France, Croatia, Ireland, Italy, Republic of Cyprus, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Hungary, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Slovakia, Finland, Sweden, United Kingdom) 20% VAT will be automatically applied and updated in your basket.
VAT will not apply to customers based outside of the EU however, you will be responsible for any import duties and taxes charged. We suggest you contact your local customs office to find out if any duties apply.
CANCELLING A PROCESSING ORDER
If you have placed an order with us but then wish to change or cancel it, please contact us as soon as possible quoting your order reference number. We will try our best to make any changes but we cannot guarantee that we will be able to do so as the order may already have been processed. In such cases, you may have to wait until you receive the order and then follow the procedures for returns. Unfortunately goods that have been dispatched cannot be changed or redirected to an alternative address
It's our aim to provide a returns service that is as hassle-free as possible for you. If you're not completely satisfied with an item you may return it within 14 Days of the date the item was delivered for a full refund minus the original shipping charge, providing it hasn't been used.
This applies to all our products except for bespoke items for which we offer no refund. If you wish to cancel, return or exchange something, you must fill in the returns form - before returning goods. Products must be returned in their original packaging and must be undamaged, unused or trial fitted as we cannot sell this item on as new. Clothing must be unworn and unwashed with tags on if fitted. Shoes must be unworn with no dirt on the sole and must come with an original box. Faulty items do not require their original packaging.
Please note that for all UK/international returns customer must contact us first before returning an item and then must follow our shipping instructions. Otherwise, if your return shipping method is more expensive than ours we reserve the right to refuse refunding the difference in costs.
• Put your unused, labelled item for return back in its original packaging.
• Fill in a Returns Form and include this with the item you are returning.
• Post the item back to Aphelion Cycles (the postal address is on the bottom of the returns form)
You must return the goods to Aphelion Cycles by registered post or similar within 14 working days (excluding Saturdays, Sundays or Bank Holidays) from the date of the Cancellation Notice along with a returns form, which can be downloaded here.
You are responsible for the cost of returning the goods to Aphelion Cycles and the risk of damage to the goods in transit. If the goods are damaged in transit Aphelion Cycles reserves the right to refuse a refund and it will be your responsibility to seek compensation from the carrier. You are responsible for the cost of goods being sent back to us, in the case of faulty or damaged goods (at no fault of your own) which require an exchange we will pay for the postage back to your address. If you are returning an item for an exchange for any other reason, you will also be responsible for the cost of postage back to you. All re-deliveries will be made to the delivery address on the original invoice.
If you receive a damaged order, please do not accept the package and contact us straight away. Alternatively, Please forward photos of the damaged item and packaging to firstname.lastname@example.org including a picture of the shipping label.
After we have received the item(s) back in its original condition, a refund will be credited back into the PayPal account or Credit/Debit card used to place the order. Please allow up to 10 working days for the refund to show up in your account.
